Three men have been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary during a party at a Sandy home in March.
A woman was having a party at her parents' house March 1 on Dimple Dell Road, near 2000 East, when three men arrived. At the time, the woman's parents were vacationing in Mexico.The woman asked the three men to leave. But later they returned with three men who are members of a street gang, according to documents filed in 3rd District Court.
The three gang members entered the house through the front door and the basement, the documents state.
The suspects, a 21-year-old man from South Jordan, a 20-year-old man from Murray and an 18-year-old man from West Jordan, have been charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony. The 21-year-old man has also been charged with aggravated assault, a second-degree felony; three counts of third-degree aggravated assault; and criminal mischief, also a third-degree felony.
None of the three suspects are in custody, but $100,000 arrest warrants have been issued for each of them.
