Pistons coach Doug Collins may not return to his job next season, the Detroit Free Press reported today.
Collins has admitted that his intense nature and the 82-game NBA schedule and playoffs leave him tired, the newspaper said. The Free Press cited unidentified sources as saying the odds are good that Collins will announce he is leaving when he returns from vacation in two weeks.
"To the very best of my knowledge, no decision has been made," team president Tom Wilson said.
