As quietly as she lived, as softly as she spoke and as loved as a child of God should be, DeAnna Masters died in her mother's tender care on Tuesday, May 6, 1997, one week short of her 28th birthday.

DeAnna was born on May 13, 1969 in Salt Lake City to Leila and Ken Masters. She attended Hartvigsen School for 16 years and has been until this week employed at the Work Activity Center. DeAnna was active in LDS Church functions and was a willing participant in many sacrament meetings featuring handicapped young people. She loved country music, television and being with her mother.Among her survivors are her mother; her father; her sister, LeNina (Nathan) Wimmer; her brother, Martin (Rashelle). She is also survived by her grandmother, Virginia Masters; a stepsister, Bonnie Jean; a close family friend, Kathleen Roundy; and her life-long friend, Adam Bray. She leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States and Finland.

DeAnna's funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 1997, at the Hunter Ninth Ward chapel, 3400 West 6500 South, WVC. Friends may call there, Friday 12:45 -1:45 p.m. Burial, Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Raod, directed by Memorial Estates Mortuary.

Her tattered heart could beat no longer, but her love will light our dreams forever.
