Goldenwest Credit Union, an Ogden-based financial institution, was awarded the Golden Mirror Award for its 1996 "Memories" series television commercials by the Credit Union Executive Society. The award, given during the society's annual conference in April, marks the third year Goldenwest has been honored for excellence in creative and results-oriented advertising. Scopes-Garcia-Carlisle, a Salt Lake advertising agency, created the campaign.
