The first 2002 Winter Games pin that commemorates a holiday is now in stores.
The dated, limited-edition, Mother's Day pin is the first of a series of enameled lapel pins that will mark important holidays between now and the start of the Olympics in 2002."In addition to the sentimental value the holiday pins have at that moment, they are very collectible and become more so over time," said Adrian DeGroot, head of Aminco International.
The California-based company is the official producer of Olympic pins for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee. Last month, the company's first set of pins for the 2002 Games sold out within hours.
