Darrell D. Hatch, 70, of Burley, Idaho, died May 6, 1997 in Magna.
He was born June 17, 1926 in Santaquin, Utah to William Arthur Hatch and Mary Ott Hatch. Married Jenice Jamison in Salt Lake City. His main passion was flying in agricultural planes. Member of LDS Church.Darrell was the father of seven children who survive him: Joan Spencer, Caldwell, Idaho; Jill Neilson, West Valley; David D. Hatch, Conn.; Ted J. Hatch, Magna; Jim Hatch, San Mateo, CA; Will Scott Hatch, Dallas, TX; also survived by sisters, Arelene Christensen, Provo; and Mary Hatch, Orem; brother, Lyle Hatch, Orem; 18 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Mary and Arthur; son, William Thomas Hatch; sister, Lula Campbell; brother, Farrell Hatch; Jenice Dimter and long time friend, Verna Bailey.
This family will miss his smile and laughter in the years ahead.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 12th, at the Aecquia Ward Chapel in Aecquia, ID. Friends may call 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 So., West Valley City, Utah, and at the church in Idaho at 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Pleasant View Cemetery, Burley, Idaho.
