Finally, Robbie Morrison has buried a ghost.

A year after giving up the home run that gave LSU the NCAA baseball title over his Miami Hurricanes, Morrison put in a stellar relief effort as Miami marked its return to the College World Series with a 7-3, 12-inning victory over UCLA.Morrison shut out the Bruins for 32/3 innings while the Hurricanes struggled to put together the winning runs.

Miami blew the game open in the 12th after Jake Meyer (3-3) walked four straight batters to force in Mike Lopez-Cao with the go-ahead run.

UCLA, 12th in the nation in scoring at 9.7 runs a game, struggled throughout to score runs and that surprised outfielder Eric Byrnes.
