Gov. Mike Leavitt has named the president of Salt Lake's Jacobsen Construction to the seven-member board of trustees for the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration.

Lonnie M. Bullard will replace Scott Robertson, whose term expired June 30, on the board. Bullard's term runs through June 2003."With his experience in finance, real-estate development and construction, Bullard's expertise matches our desire to continue to pursue commercial and industrial development of trust lands," said board chairman Ruland Gill.

The school trust lands administration is an independent state agency that manages 3.7 million acres of Utah trust lands. Profits benefit Utah schoolchildren and other public institutions.

Jacobsen reported more than $100 million in revenue last year. The company is now involved in a handful of landmark, highly visible projects throughout the Salt Lake Valley, most notably, Little America Grand Hotel, the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the LDS Church Assembly Building.
