Fredrick Lee Muir, age 96, passed away September 20, 1997, in Salt Lake City.

Born January 22, 1901, in Gray, Idaho, to Fredrick James and Lydia Ann Tucker Muir. Married Hazel Lucille Stauffer April 21, 1925. Widowed. Married Grace Roseberry. Widowed.He was a sheep rancher until 1942 and then owned his own carton and box business until his retirement in 1959. Active in the LDS Church and member of Sons of the Utah Pioneers. Spent many hours working in the temple.

Survived by son, Donald C. (Norma) Muir, Salt Lake City; grandchildren: Brian (Buffy) Muir, Salt Lake City; Christine Booker, Thayne, Wyoming; Sally (Dean) Elliott, Las Vegas, Nevada; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by both wives, parents, and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, September 25, 1997, in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 So. Highland Drive, where friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, one hour prior to services. Entombment, Wasatch Lawn Everlasting Gardens Mausoleum.
