Food and music will be part of the Oktoberfest at the Gallivan Utah Center Saturday, Oct. 4, from noon until 9 p.m. Gates will open at 11:30 p.m.

In addition to the entertainment lineup, which includes the Basin Street Band, Harry Lee & the Blues Ambassadors, Shag and Zion Tribe, there will be food booths from the Pie, El Chile Verde, Navajo Taco, Dets Sausages and, of course, there will be plenty of warm beverages.There will also be a food drive to support Catholic Community Services. St. Vincent De Paul Soup Kitchen is asking festival goers to bring a can of stew or chili.

Also, the Gallivan Center will donate 5 percent of admissions to Catholic Community Services.
