Jason Byron Langford, age 25, died on Sept. 24, 1997 in Little Cottonwood Canyon due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

He was born to Steven George and Carol Ann Lindsay Langford on Dec. 18, 1971 in Glendale, Arizona. He married Danielle Turnbow in the Jordan River Temple on May 20, 1995. Jason grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and Sandy, Utah. He was employed at Nextlink in Salt Lake City. He was also a student at S.L. Community College majoring in business. He was an active member of the LDS church, serving in the bishopric of the West Jordan 44th Ward. He received his Eagle Scout and served a full-time mission in the Las Vegas, Nevada Mission. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife and daughter.Jason is survived by his eternal companion, Danielle, a daughter, Lauren (14 months) and unborn son, Parker J., due in six weeks; his father, Steven and three sisters; Jennifer, JeNae and Jaylene Langford, all of Salt Lake and two older step-sisters, Sherrie and Katrina, grandmother, Faye Lindsay, his-in-laws, Roland C. and Barbara Turnbow, and their children, Camille and Patrick Dickerson, Monique and Cameron Turnbow, Uncle Gordon and Aunt Lynette Langford, many special relatives and friends. Preceeded in death by his mother, and his paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 27, 1997 at 10 a.m. in the West Jordan East Stake Center, 1899 W. 7600 S. Friends may call Fri. 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 S. 1700 E. and Sat. at the church 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens
