This Lake Erie resort city celebrated the arrival of 1998 and its biggest industry - sport fishing - by lowering a 17-foot, 127-pound, papier-mache walleye from a crane at midnight. When the big fish dropped for the first time on Dec. 31, 1996, about 5,000 revelers watched Captain Wylie Walleye.
