Our dear sweet mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away into the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ on January 11, 1998 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on January 7, 1909 in Levan, Utah. Daughter of Swen and Sorena Malmgren. Married her special sweetheart Thomas Dorrald Hanson on April 27, 1932. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple May 27, 1952. He preceded her in death May 17, 1987. Member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.Survived by eight children; Connie Mae (George) Larson, Salt Lake; Carolyn (Jan) Gerber, Boise; Sharon (Doren) Dansie, Sandy; Judy (Jack) Atnip, Rupert, Idaho; Linda (Mick) Ashton, Vacaville, CA; Thomas Darrold (Sophia) Hanson, Salt Lake; Conrad Edwin (Liz) Hanson, Page AZ; David Malmgren (Peggy) Hanson, CA; 32 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Velma Neilsen; Venice Bleak. Preceded in death by husband; daughter, Gwendolyn Hope; sisters, Ethel Miller, Amanda Secrest, Anna Darrant, Mae Mooney, Ruby Francom, Wanda Hanson, Hope Malmgren and Irene Baggs; brothers: Herb Malmgren and Cleo Malmgren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15 at Larkin Mortuary at 12 noon. Friends may call Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple and one hour prior to service. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens.
