Otto Cleve Behunin, 86, passed away Monday, January 12, 1998.

Otto was born April 5, 1911 to Isaac Martin and Julia Cook Behunin at Torrey, Wayne Co., Utah. He was the fifth of 13 children. He married Elva May Allen, September 5, 1931, later solemnized in the Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Otto was loved and respected by his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor. Otto was a retired sheep shearer and carpenter. Both reflected his dedication to skill and hard work.Otto enjoyed golfing with his sons and grandsons as well as many friends. Otto will be missed by his family and friends here and welcomed and loved by his family and friends in the eternities.

Otto is survived by three sons, Otto E. (Darlene) of Gridley, CA; LaRell A. (Pearl) of North Salt Lake; and Garry J. (Lynda) of Eagle, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Matthew and Leland and one sister, Lyla Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters and two brothers, his wife, a daughter, Elaine Maw, a grandson and great-grandson.

The family wishes to thank all those who provided loving care to Otto for the last year.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Cannon 8th Ward, 1172 So. Glendale Dr. (1350 West), Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewing Friday, January 16, 1998 at Memorial Estates, 5850 So. 900 East, 6-8 p.m. Friends may call one our prior at the church.
