SHARE Death: Maxine Kroescher

Maxine Winterton Kroescher, succumbed on October 8, 1998, after a lengthy battle with leukemia.

She was born June 13, 1927 in Charleston, Utah, to Stafford and Maud Wright Winterton. She married Ralph Emil Kroescher September 6, 1968, later solemnized in the St. George Temple. She served an LDS mission in Northern California during 1950-52, and has held many other callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She received BA and MS degrees from the University of Utah in 1960 and 1967.Maxine enjoyed boating, golf, tennis, square dancing, traveling and spending time with many good friends. As an animal lover, she was always concerned for their humane treatment.

She is survived by her husband; mother, Maud Winterton Giles; two brothers: Doyle W. (Donna) Winterton, Provo, Utah; and Lary S. (Dot) Winterton, Heber City, Utah; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father.

She wishes to thank all those who participated in her care for their many kindnesses.

Funeral services will be held in the Deer Creek Chapel in Charleston (3423 S. 3500 West) on Tuesday, October 13, 1998 at 1 p.m., visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Charleston, Utah Cemetery in the care of Olpin Mortuary, Heber City.
