H. Gerald Llewelyn, 55, passed away October 10, 1998, in Salt Lake City.
Born November 17, 1942, in Logan, Utah, to Henry Isaiah and Nina Lillian Kent Llewelyn. Raised in Alpine and attended American Fork High. He enjoyed football, baseball, basketball and softball.Jerry spent several years working for ABC Television in Burbank, California. He returned to Utah in 1990 with his wife Terry, daughters Charrese and Lacee. Jerry became involved in Neighborhood Watch and invented S.N.A.G. (Sandy Neighbors Against Gangs). We will miss his sense of humor, positive attitude and willingness to help others.
He is survived by his wife, Terry; daughters, Gina Llewelyn, Ginet (Mark) McCracken, Julie Johnson, Michelle Llewelyn, Charrese Llewelyn, Lacee Llewelyn; sons, Gary Llewelyn, Scott Llewelyn, Kent (Stacie) Llewelyn; sister, Annett Llewelyn; brother, LeRoy (Cerise) Llewelyn; eight grandchildren; Aunt Peggy, Uncle Eddy, and Aunt Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his brother Kent.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the Academy Park 2nd Ward, 4605 W. West Point Drive (4645 South). The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 13, 1998, from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
Interment, Alpine City Cemetery.
