GOLF: Weber State's women's golf team moved into second place during the final round of the Big Sky Golf Championship Wednesday by shooting the low team round of the day of 306 and bettering its second-round score by 16 strokes.
Northern Arizona three-peated for the championship title with a team total of 916.
The 54-hole tournament was held at Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George.
Weber State's men's team faltered in the third round with a team total of 300 to place fourth after being down one stroke behind Eastern Washington with a 289 total in round two.
Garnering Big Sky all-conference honors for Weber State were Sally Bingham (eighth, 241) and Kami Whitehead (ninth, 242) on the women's side and Scott Young (fourth, 217) and Marty Jacks (sixth, 220) on the men's side.

FOOTBALL: Dixie College has moved the starting time of its game against New Mexico Military this Saturday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The change was made to accommodate the opening day of the Utah deer hunt.
