Mildred H. Workman, age 56, passed away after a long battle with cancer October 18, 1998.
Mildred was born July 22, 1942, in Cedar City to Merlin and Lasca Dorrity Hunt. She married Paul Workman May 2, 1964, in the St. George LDS Temple. She was very active in the Cub Scout program, Relief Society, South Salt Lake Fire Department Auxiliary and Little League. She was a giving person to her family and friends; her strong spirit, gracious smile and wonderful laugh have enriched the lives of many. Her passing will leave an empty space for them.Survived by her three sons, Kevin Sean, and Myke, both of South Salt Lake, Travis of Paragonah; mother, Lasca Hunt of Paragonah; three sisters, Wanda (Clarence) Benson of Parowan, Larie (Jay) Tippetts of Arnold, CA; Janet (Biff) Groskreutz of Roy, UT; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, father Merlin, brother Bernell, and sister LaJean.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998, 12 noon at the LDS Kimball Ward, 300 East 2280 South. Friends may call Wednesday evening, from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and one hour prior at the ward. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery.
