Ricks College has broken its own enrollment record. Enrollment for fall semester stands at 8,551 students, compared to last year's fall record of 8,277.
At Ricks this year are 2,428 new students. The remaining number includes 5,494 students continuing from last year and 629 students returning after an absence, such as returned missionaries who re-entered Ricks following their LDS missions.Forty foreign countries, with 216 international students, are represented at Ricks. Fifty-seven percent of the students are women. By states, Idaho has the most students - 3,057 - attending Ricks, followed by Utah at 1,289.
