E. Paul Evans, age 71, of Lehi, died October 19, 1998 at the Salt Lake LDS Hospital, of complications following surgery.
He was born January 25, 1927 in Lehi, Utah to Aaron and Beulah Thomas Evans. Married Lucile Okey, October 1, 1948 in American Fork. He was a lifetime farmer and rancher in Lehi. He served in the Army during World War II. He enjoyed traveling and dearly loved hischildren and grandchildren.Survived by his wife, of Lehi; three sons, Randy (Sondra) Evans, Salt Lake City; Dale (Mary) Evans, West Jordan; Guy (Amy) Evans, Lehi; four daughters, Linda (Gary) Clark, Lehi; Susan (John) Baxter, Elsinor, Utah; Jill (Tim) Winslow and Diane (Shaun) Lamb, both of Lehi; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, R. Bruce (Vivian) Evans, Tremonton. Preceded in death by his parents, sister and brothers, Thelda Fox, Dean, Grant, Glen, and Larry Evans.
Funeral services will be Fri, October 23, 1998 at 11 a.m., Lehi 16th Ward LDS Chapel, 200 S. 200 W., Lehi. Friends may call Thurs evening 6-8 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and Friday at church one hour prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery with military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
