Beloved wife and daughter, Hayley Day Rossi, age 32, passed away October 22, 1998 at home.

Hayley was born June 27, 1966 in Sheridan, WY to Don and Marsha Hockett. Married David Rossi, May 19, 1990 at St. Matthews Parish in Gillette, WY. Hayley grew up in Gillette, WY and was active in sports and rodeo, she attended Casper College and Sheridan College. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 11 years. Hayley graced all of our lives with her enthusiasm for life. She was kind, gentle and loving. Hayley valiantly fought cancer for 10 years.Hayley lived her life by showing endless amounts of love to those around her. Her love for life was evident in all of her works. Hayley lived life from her heart, never letting bad feelings or hard times stand in her way. Hayley was my best friend and wife for eight years, she will be missed by all who knew and came to love her as I did. God Bless you, Hayley and please pray for our lost souls. Survived by husband, David; parents, Don and Marsha Hockett; sister, Heidi Rivenes; nine nephews and nieces; Ray and Judy Rossi, Helper, UT; grandfather, Louis Stephenson, all of Gillette.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Sat., October 24, 1998 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, 3015 E. Creek Road, Sandy, UT. The Vigil Service will be celebrated Friday, October 23, 1998 at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 So.), where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.

A Celebration of Hayley's life will be celebrated at St. Matthews in Gillette, WY on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998.

Hayley would like this to be a celebration of her life. Please dress in bright, cheerful colors.
