No charges will be filed in a case in which a University of Utah student said she was drugged, then raped by two men at a Kappa Sigma fraternity party.
Prosecutors said the woman's inability to recall details of the incident could not override the suspects' claims that the 18-year-old student consented to sex."Every rape case is difficult, because it is one person's word against the other's, but in this case the victim didn't have a clear recollection herself; it became difficult to prove beyond a reasonable doubt," Salt Lake County District Attorney Neal Gunnarson said Thursday.
