Callie Elizabeth Clark, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully October 22, 1998 surrounded by family and friends after a valiant battle with cancer.

She was born December 12, 1933 to Samuel and Fannie Chandler in Sabelha, Kansas. She married her sweetheart, Johnnie R. Clark on August 4, 1955. Together they raised four children. They moved to Utah in 1966 and eventually made their home in Grantsville in 1970. Callie accomplished much in her life. Everywhere she went she made new friends. Whether it was working with Sterl Halliday at the Variety Store in Grantsville; selling Tupperware, or working at TEAD, running her own beauty supply store with her daughters, which she sold to spend time with her sweetheart hosting campgrounds in California, Idaho and Utah or boutique-ing with her daughters, she always took the opportunity to meet people, make friends and touch lives. Though her favorite job was being a grandmother. We'll miss you "Grammy".She was a member of the LDS Church and for years shared her beautiful voice while singing in the choir.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years; children, Ed (Tracy) Clark of Ferron; Nancy Clark, Peggy Ahlstrom and Anne (Troy) Johnson, all of Grantsville; sister, Frank Hathaway of Des Moines, Iowa; and by 11 grandchildren, Morgan, Adam, Brian and Jeffrey Clark, Lydia, Taft, and Heber Ahlstrom, Brynn, Dallin, Emily and Carley Johnson.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998 at 2 p.m. in the Grantsville City Cemetery. Friends may call at the cemetery one hour prior.

Thanks to all those who provided continued service and support to the family through these trying times.
