Golda Mitchell, 91, passed away 24, October, 1998 in Bountiful, Utah. She was a beautiful mother, devoted wife, and loving grandmother.
Born January 1, 1907 in Preston, Idaho, to Martinus Olsen and Camilla Markussen Brodin.Preceded in death by sister, Edith Bergette Robbins, Camilla Marie vans, Carmen Sylvia Garff, Dagna Rosemaurine Wheatley, brothers, Parley Olsen and Frank Olsen.
Golda married Golden J. Callan, of Dayton, Idaho in 1924. He died in 1927. She married Rulon F. Mitchell, of Preston, Idaho, September, 1929. He died October, 1979. She was a member of the LDS Church. She raised four children, Dale G. Callan, (Grace), Bountiful, Utah; Marilyn Kay (Blaine), Bountiful, Utah; Rulon N. Mitchell (Joe Rae), Ogden, Utah; and John C. Mitchell (Dorothy) Boise, Idaho. She set a beautiful example for them to follow.
Golda leaves 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
Golda lived in Preston, Idaho, Montpelier, Idaho and Bountiful, Utah, and loved camping, reading and handwork. She was an avid fan of the Jazz and BYU sports. Golda was always alert and interested in life.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Chapel, 295 North Main where friends may call 9:30-10:30 a.m prior to the services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery
