Allan Chipman Vaughan, 93, loved and respected father and grandfather, great grandfather, died October 26, 1998.
Born November 4, 1905 in Brookline, Massachusetts to Ralph C. and Audrey Porter Vaughan. He married Matilda Willman in Boston, Massachusetts on July 7, 1934. She preceded him in death November 9, 1973. Allan was a 50 year resident of Midvale, an avid computer buff, machinist and gardener.Survivors: daughters, Janice V. Walker (Armand), Twin Peaks, California; Lois Troester (Ron), Midvale; five grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Allan; three brothers and one sister.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Midvale City Cemetery, 450 West 7500 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Friday from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
