Mary Edith Makin Hanson, 88, passed away November 27, 1998 in Provo, UT.
She was born February 17, 1910, to John William and Rose Gray Makin. She married Golden K. Hanson, October 3, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with three children, John Golden, Rosalie and Marianna. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served a mission with her husband in Louisville, Kentucky, and as workers in the Provo Temple. Her entire life was filled with service to her family and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, son, John, her parents, five brothers and five sisters. She is survived by two daughters: Rosalie (Keith) Snyder, of North Royalton, Ohio; Marianna Pugmire, of Springville; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, December 5, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the First Ward Chapel, Hobble Creek Stake, 650 East 500 South (Averett Ave). Friends and family may call at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 North, Springville, UT., on Friday, December 4, 1998 from 7-9 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
