Marius "Mark" Frewin Lund, 66, died December 1, 1998 in Bountiful, Utah from complications resulting from a brain tumor.

He was born September 5, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the fourth of Isabel Ball and George Lund's five children. Marius was raised, and lived much of his life in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City near 900 East Browning Avenue. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He graduated from South High School, and later served in the Utah National Guard where he earned the rank of sergeant.Marius worked primarily in the financial industry and auto mechanics during his life. He was gifted in working with his hands, and enjoyed constructing and repairing things. Some of his hobbies were car repair, stream fishing, ballroom dancing, round dancing, operating CB radios (123 BOB), and operating Ham radios (AB7GJ). All of these things he excelled in. He also enjoyed carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, blacksmithing, teaching religion, and teaching dance.

Marius is survived by his three daughters,

Susan (Todd) Hyer, Jennifer (Tim) Cunningham, and Jackie Lund, his three sons, David, Robert (Jennifer), and Brent Lund, his five grandchildren, Alicia, Brandon, Tanner, Trevor, and Tyler, his sister, Annabelle Stone, his three brothers, Eugene (Joyce), Lowell (Diane), and Dale (Bette) Lund, his aunts, Althea Thomson, and Mabel Luff, his dear friend Susie Squire, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4, 1998 at 11 a.m., with a viewing one hour prior to services at 10 a.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Marius will be interred at the Salt Lake City Cemetery immediately thereafter.
