PROVO -- A Provo man suffered fatal head and chest injuries after being thrown from his truck in a traffic accident Wednesday morning.

Killed:Farrell Gus Roundy, 30.

Roundy apparently ran a stop sign while driving his Chevrolet pickup eastbound on 500 South and collided with a southbound semitrailer truck on Freedom Boulevard about 9:35 a.m., according to police.

The impact spun both vehicles around, ejecting Roundy. The semi driver was not injured.

Roundy died about 1 a.m. Thursday at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.
