A Woods Cross man apparently shot and killed his girlfriend and his dog before shooting himself, police said.

Officers found the bodies of Violeta Bosen, 43, and Edgar Osorio, 29, Wednesday morning at the couple's Woods Cross home. The shootings happened sometime the night before, investigators believe."The woman was still wearing the clothes she wore to work the day before," Woods Cross police chief Paul Howard said. "The lights were still on. We think it happened sometime during the evening."

Bosen was a teacher at Davis High School. Co-workers became concerned and called police when she failed to show up for work Wednesday. Officers went into the house, 1042 W. 1300 South, about 10 a.m.
