How do you say Good-bye to a loving husband, wonderful father, devoted son, caring brother and dear friend.

Robert Grant Brown returned home to be with his Heavenly Father to rest in eternal peace which, at times, this earthly life could not give him. Bob, to all who knew and loved him, passed away November 30, 1998 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.Bob was born July 25, 1947 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Grant and Pat Brown. He graduated from Skyline High School in 1966 then later joined the Army where he served two tours in Vietnam. After returning home he worked for Rick Warner Truckland. In 1976 he went to work at Dugway Proving Ground at the Maintenance Shop and later for Dugway Safety Office with over 20 years Federal service. He was forced to retire due to medical problems in 1998. He married Sandra Ott in 1975 and together they had two children, Steve and Andrea Brown. In 1993 they divorced and later that year he married Donna Anderton and with his new love he also got a new daughter, Charity Anderton. Bob loved his family, fishing,hunting and camping. One thing about Bob was he was always there to help anyone when they needed it. He spent many hours at the Auto Craft Shop working on friend's cars. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Brown; son, Steven F. Brown; daughters, Andrea L. Brown and Charity Anderparents, Grant and Pat Brown; brothers, Stan and Jeff Brown; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many dear friends who will miss him more than words can say. He was preceded in death by his in-laws Phyllis Anderton and Poppy and Loretta Ott.

Funeral services will be Saturday Dec 5,1998 at 11 a.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 So Main St. Tooele, UT where friends may call one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by members of the Utah Army National Guard.
