Joseph Lester Myler, 81, of Cornish, Utah, died peacefully in his sleep, December 1, 1998, at the home of a daughter in Orem, Utah, after an extended illness.

He is survived by his five children: Marva Myler-Jensen, Orem, Utah; Joleen (Richard) Wright, Salt Lake City, Utah; Glade Anthony (Carolyn) Myler, Carson City, Nevada; Beth Davis, Anchorage, Alaska; and, Douglas Joseph (Julie) Myler, Roy, Utah; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister Lorain Kent, Ogden, Utah. He was preceded in death by his wife, Avis.Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 1998 at 12 noon at the Trenton/Cornish L.D.S. Chapel in Trenton, Utah. Friends and relatives may greet the family at the chapel from 10 a.m. until just prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in the Cornish Cemetery. Military Graveside services will be conducted by Lewiston American Legion Post 50.
