Clarence George Peterson, age 79, passed away December 2, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 23, 1919 in Richfield, Utah, son of Lars Christian and Isabelle Muir Peterson. Married Agnes Caroline Wahlstrom September 14, 1944 in the St. George LDS Temple.Veteran of World War II. Active member of the LDS Church where he served a mission to the Northwestern States. President of YMMIA, recipient of the Master Young Man's Award, first counselor in bishopric, High Priest Group leader, Scoutmaster, home teacher, Utah Farmer of the Year and Farm Manager for LDS Welfare Farm. He was a very loving and supportive husband and attentive father.

Survived by wife, Agnes; sons, Boyd (Janice) Peterson, South Jordan; Kenneth (Michelle) Peterson, West Jordan; Glenn (Denise) Peterson, West Valley City; daughters, Carolyn Peterson, West Jordan; Karma (Charles) O'Bryan, Ferron; Janell Rohner, Ely, Nevada; 17 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Ray Peterson, Heber City. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Wendy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call Friday,

5-8 p.m. and Saturday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
