Thelma Irene Hill, 85, passed away on November 30, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Thelma was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on May 1, 1913 to Charles Grover and Gertrude McReynolds Orman. She married George B. Hill. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.Thelma loved and was an active member of the LDS Church. One of the highlights of her life was serving a mission with her husband from 1960 to 1963, when he was called as president of the Eastern Atlantic States Mission. In addition to this, she enjoyed serving in the Primary and Relief Society.
Her family was the central focus of her life. She loved spending time with all of them, especially her grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Sky Natoni of Tacoma, Washington; her son, Charles P. (Karen) Hill of Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; one brother, Don.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, December 4, 1998 at the Holladay LDS 1st Ward, 4568 South Holladay Blvd., Salt Lake City. The family will receive friends prior to services, from 10:45 to 11:45.
