Shan Kim Jacobs, "Jee Hwan Kim", 26, beloved and cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, and cousin, collapsed suddenly on the ski slopes of Alta from an unexpected brain hemorrhage. Shan passed away the following day at L.D.S. Hospital.

He was born March 20th, 1972 in Taegu, Korea and as an infant came to bless the lifes of Judy Shannon Oram and Jerald H. Jacobs. Shan loved skiing, fishing, tying flies, hunting and spending time with friends and family. Shan spent his summers with his drift boat as a fishing guide on the Green River at Flaming Gorge.He is survived by his mother, Judy Shannon Oram, Oakcreek, Utah; father, Jerald H. Jacobs, American Fork; sisters, Anjeanette Jacobs (Wendy Nance) Salt Lake and Jubalen (Matt) Shill, Pleasant Grove; brother, Josh McKinney Oakcreek, Utah; grandmothers, Mary P. Jacobs, Pleasant Grove and Dixie Shannon, Joplin, Missouri; nieces, Shelbie J., Hannah E., and Brielle B. Shill, all of Pleasant Grove; aunt, Jacqueline Jacobs, Salt Lake; cousins, Kelly Trimble (Mark Sansom), Sheldon Trimble (Jeff Titterton), Angela Trimble (Ron Baron), Brandon (Jenny Bishol) Trimble, Rachel Huntsman (Ryan Button), second cousins; Jacob, Tanner, Noah and Elijah.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Shan will be greatly missed!
