Carl Bernard Dahlberg, age 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 2, 1998 at his home in Salt Lake City.

He was born on November 21,1902 in Park City, Utah to Carl Johan and Ida Charlotta Larrson Dahlberg. He married Mildred Evaline Winder, October 29, 1932. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, June 30,1936.They are the parents of six children. Mildred passed away on June 10, 1978 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Carl was an active member of the LDS Church in the Rosecrest 1st Ward, Canyon Rim Stake. He worked in the accounting department of the Mine and Smelter Company for 37 years. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working in his yard, and listening to the Utah Jazz basketball games, U. of U. and B.Y.U. basketball games and Buzz baseball games.

Carl is survived by four sons and two daughters: Carl Gerald (Jerry) and Joyce, Ogden, Utah; Kent Winder and Maurine, Salt Lake City; Rex Bernard and Nancy, Apple Valley, California; John Winder (Jack), Salt Lake City; Joy and Robert Frank Orton, Salt Lake City; and Jana Sue and Rod Figueroa, Camarillo, California. 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Gustave Dahlberg; Alice Gorringe and Helen Miller.

Funeral services will be held Saturday December 5, 1998 at 12 noon in the Rosecrest Ward Chapel, 3101 South 2300 East, with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive. The family wishes to thank his bishop, home teachers, and neighbors and Home Instead Senior Care.
