LDS CHRISTMAS DEVOTIONAL IS SUNDAY IN S.L. TABERNACLE

The LDS Church will host its annual First Presidency Christmas Devotional on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. President Gordon B. Hinckley will deliver his annual message, as will his counselors, Presidents Thomas S. Monson and James E. Faust. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will provide music for the event, which will be carried live on the church's satellite TV network to more than 3,000 stake centers in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The devotional will also be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. Sunday on KBYU-TV, Channel 11.OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE PLANS WEEKLONG NOVENA

LADIES OF ST. THOMAS MORE HOSTING YULE LUNCHEON TODAY

The Ladies of St. Thomas More Parish will host their 14th annual Christmas luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 3015 Creek Road in Sandy. Social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon. HOLLADAY BAPTIST WELCOMES A NEW PASTOR ON SUNDAY

Holladay Baptist Church, 2780 E. 3900 South, will welcome its new pastor, Rodger S. Russell, on Sunday, Dec. 6, at the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Russell was most recently pastor of the First Baptist Church in Moriatry, N.M., and is a graduate of the Southwestern Baptist Theological and Golden Gate Baptist Theological seminaries.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT SUNDAY AT GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN

UNITY SPIRITUAL CENTER HOSTS WORKSHOP WITH REVS. HILLER

The Revs. David and Margaret Hiller, nationally known healers and teachers, will present a workshop at the Unity Spiritual Center, 141 E. 5600 South. INTERFAITH YULE CONCERT AT PROVO CHURCH DEC. 12

PROVO -- An interfaith Christmas concert will be presented on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m., at the Provo Community United Church of Christ, 175 N. University Ave., featuring choirs from the host church as well as Tree of Life Lutheran Church, local LDS stake choirs, and the Rock Canyon Assembly of God choir. SANTA BREAKFAST BENEFIT FOR CHILDREN IS SET DEC. 12

The Alpha Lambda Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International will sponsor its 11th annual Santa Breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 until 11 a.m. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the largest childhood cancer research center in the world. The event, which will feature a visit from Santa, and bake sale, will be held at Wasatch Presbyterian Church, 1626 S. 1700 East. There is a suggested admission donation of $4 for kids 6 years and younger; all others are $6.
