The main road into Moab from the north reopened after fire crews put out a natural gas pipeline fire that burned for about 30 hours.

The highway, U-191, opened about 4 p.m. after the pipe was sealed, a Grand County police dispatcher said. The road had been closed since 10 a.m. Thursday when the pipe exploded.The blast sent flames shooting over the road, witnesses said. It caused minor injuries to four pipeline workers, but nobody else was hurt, authorities said.
