MURRAY -- Jake Schroeder netted a game-high 17 points and the Bingham Miners used a strong second half to defeat Murray 62-46 in a preseason game Friday.

Schroeder hit three 3-pointers on the night as Bingham (2-0) broke open a tie game at halftime to take a 43-34 lead into the final quarter.Nate Lever scored 12 points to lead Murray, which fell to 2-1.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 56, DAVIS 45: The Bruins used a 30-12 scoring edge in the second half to rally past the Darts. Jeff Gardner had 16 for Mountain View.

OLYMPUS 59, LAYTON 54: Trailing 20-10 in the second quarter, the Titans put together a 38-14 run to take the lead and withstood a Lancer rally for the win. Josh Steenblik had 27 for Olympus.

TIMPANOGOS 98, PAYSON 63: Golden Ingle hit three 3-pointers and finished with 25 points to lead the Timberwolves.

BOUNTIFUL 67, WEBER 53: A big third quarter sprung the Braves to the win as Brett Paxton led all scorers with 17 points.

GALENA, NEV. 52, SPANISH FORK 42: Preston Hicks scored 14 points but the Dons could never overcome an early deficit in the road loss.

OREM 61, BISHOP GORMAN, NEV. 49: Jeff Ford poured in a game-high 25 points and Shawn Opunui added 15 more for the Tigers.

COTTONWOOD 62, HUNTER 60 (OT): Josh Neely's layup with five seconds left in OT gave him 16 points and the Colts the victory. Derek Dawes had 17 to lead Cottonwood.

UINTAH 72, SNOW CANYON 70: Trevor Richins hit for 24 points and the Utes survived a late shooting flurry by the Warriors.

TABIONA 61, PANGUITCH 51: Levi Gines scored 25 points as the Tigers jumped out to a 24-9 lead and cruised past the Bobcats.

BEAR RIVER 69, BOX ELDER 56: The Bears pulled away in the second half for the win as Chris Huber led all scorers with 18 points.
