Once again the ACLU is fighting against God, the Bible and all that is of good worth, and all in the name of "protecting the Constitution."

They know exactly what they are doing. They are not so naive that they don't know that the founders of this nation not only had prayer in public and other schools and government offices but used the Bible every day to teach moral values and manners.

They are not so naive that they don't know that this is a Christian nation and was founded upon the Ten Commandments and belief in God and the Bible. The Ten Commandments should hang upon the walls of all schools and colleges and other public places.

The First Amendment reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, and Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise thereof." It says nothing about restricting churches or religion, rather it was written for their protection against government intrusion on religious freedom. The ACLU, like President Clinton, likes to play with words and change the meaning to suit themselves.

The words "separation of church and state" are not found anywhere in the Constitution or the Bill or Rights. Hitler once said, "If you tell a lie long enough, often enough and loud enough, people will believe it."

The founders and their children learned to read from the New England Primer and also the Bible. They had daily prayer and were taught a daily creed, which began "I believe in God the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only son our Lord," etc.

The ACLU pushes all this aside.

We need many to take an active stand toward retaining our Constitution and our Bill or Rights against the infringements that the ACLU are trying to put upon us, piece by piece, as well as environmental extremists, anti-gun rights and others.
