Two local theater companies have announced plans for their 1999 seasons.
Rodgers Memorial Theatre, 292 E. Pages Lane, Centerville, has an all-musical season of seven productions planned, including a revival of "Phantom" and the regional premiere of the Madison Square Garden version of "A Christmas Carol." Play dates are: "Forever Plaid," Jan. 15-Feb. 27.
"Fiddler on the Roof," March 12-April 17.
"Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," April 30-June 12.
"A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine," June 25-July 31.
"Guys and Dolls," Aug. 20-Sept. 25.
"Phantom," Oct. 8-Nov. 13.
"A Christmas Carol," Nov. 26-Dec. 24.
Season tickets are $63 for adults/weekends, $56 for senior citizens and students (weekends) and $49 for children, 3-11 years of age (weekends). Midweek season tickets (Mondays & Thursdays, plus some Tuesdays & Wednesdays), are $49 each.
RMT's single ticket prices will be increasing slightly for 1999. Adult tickets will be $12 each, with $11 for students/senior citizens and $10 for children. Season subscriptions represent a discount of $3 on each ticket.

Wasatch Theatre Company, housed at Jim's Soupers Deli, 2278 S. Redwood Road, has four diverse plays on its calendar, showcasing works by Samuel Beckett, William Goldsmith, David Bottrell & Jessie Jones and Brian Friel.
"Endgame," by Beckett, March 19-27, directed by Bob Lanoue.
"She Stoops to Conquer," by Goldsmith, July 9-17.
"Dearly Departed," by Bottrell & Jones, Sept. 17-25.
