Here is a calendar of classical music and dance concerts slated for the upcoming week:

THE ALL SAINTS CHAMBER GROUP -- featuring flutist Tussy King, mandolinist Todd Woodbury, violinist Shi-Hwa Wang and conductor, violinist/violaist Joel Rosenberg -- will present a benefit concert for the All Saint's Grand Piano Fund in All Saints Episcopal Church, 1710 S. Foothill Drive, tonight. Curtain is 8 p.m. Contributions will be accepted.THE WASATCH COMMUNITY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, conducted by Kenneth Kulcher, will perform works by Handel, Copland, Otto Nicolai, Calvin Custer and Chip Davis (Manheim Steamroller), in the First Presbyterian Church -- C Street and South Temple -- tonight. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

THE WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY COMBINED CHOIRS will present a Christmas concert in St. Joseph Church in Ogden tonight. Admission is $4.50 and $3.50. Curtain is 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

THE UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY MUSIC DEPARTMENT will give a holiday concert tonight in the Kent Concert Hall at the Chase Fine Arts Center at USU. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $3 to $5 and are available at the door. Family tickets are $10 each.

JAZZ PIANIST FRED HERSCH will play during Snowbird's sixth annual Winterfest in the Cliff Lodge Ballroom tonight at 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door.

THE SOUTHWEST SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AND CHORALE, directed by Jong H. Kim, will perform its version of Handel's "Messiah" in the Cox Auditorium at Dixie College in St. George tonight and Monday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for students, at the college ticketing office and the Avenna Center, 445 S. 700 East. THE UTAH CHAMBER ARTISTS will present a Christmas concert at the First Presbyterian Church, C Street and South Temple, on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 7 and 8. Curtain for both evenings is 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for senior citizens and $10 for students and can be purchased at Waking Owl Books, Daynes Music and at the door. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (801) 255-2233.

THE LIGHTWOOD DUO, Mike Christiansen and Eric Nelson, will perform in the Mount Logan Middle School auditorium, Logan, on Monday, Dec. 7. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. The concert will benefit the Cache Children's Choir. Tickets are available at the Book Table and at the door. Prices are $5 general admission and $15 per family.

THE BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC will present Handel's "Messiah" in the de Jong Concert Hall at the Harris Fine Arts Center at BYU on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for BYU students, faculty and staff. Tickets can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office at (801) 378-4322.

THE COMPOSERS GUILD annual Christmas concert will be held in the Wasatch Presbyterian Church, 1626 S. 1700 East, on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. Works by composers who live along the Wasatch Front will be presented during the evening. Announcements of winners from the Composers Guild's 1998 annual composition contest will conclude the concert.

WSU SINGERS will perform in Peery's Egyptian Theatre in Ogden on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Admission is $4.50 and $3.50.

THE MORMON YOUTH CHORUS AND SYMPHONY will be held in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Wednesday, Dec. 9. The music will begin at 8 p.m. Admission is free. The concert will be repeated at the Provo Tabernacle on Friday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m. Ticket information for the Provo concert can be reached at (801) 852-6646.

THE WSU GUITAR ENSEMBLE will perform in the Perry Lecture Hall at the Marriott Allied Health Building at WSU on Wednesday, Dec. 9. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Admission is a donated canned good.

THE ALL-CITY CHILDREN'S ORCHESTRA AND THE ALL-CITY CHERUBS' ORCHESTRA, directed by Devon English Colby, will hold a holiday concert at the Community of Grace Presbyterian Church, 2015 E. Newcastle Drive, Sandy, on Wednesday, Dec. 9. The music will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

THE USU PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE will present "A Rat-A-Tat Christmas" in the Kent Concert Hall of the Chase Fine Arts Center at WSU on Wednesday, Dec. 9. The music will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $3 at the door.

THE COMBINED CHOIRS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH AND BRIGHAM YOUNG UNVERSITY will present their fourth annual holiday concert, "Angels We Have Heard On High," in Abravanel Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 9. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. The concert will be accompanied by the Festival Brass Ensemble. Tickets are $3-$12 and $25 for families. A BYU SENIOR DANCE SHOWCASE will be held in the Dance Studio Theater, MICHAEL McLEAN will present his popular Christmas musical "The Forgotten Carols," in the Dee Events Center at WSU in Ogden on Wednesday, Dec. 165 Richards Building, at BYU on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 9 and 10. THE UTAH VALLEY SYMPHONY will perform its Christmas concert in the Provo Tabernacle on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 9 and 10. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and $4 for students and senior citizens and can be purchased at the door.

THE UTAH REGIONAL BALLET'S "Nutcracker" will run Dec. 11-12 and 17-19 in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center at BYU. Evening curtain is 7:30 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinees on Dec. 12 and 19. Tickets area available by calling (801) 378-4322.

THE AMERICAN WEST SYMPHONY AND CHORUS, directed by Joel Rosenberg, will present a concert in the All Saint's Episcopal Church, 1710 S. Foothill Drive, on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 12. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for studentss and $15 for families.

RADHA CARMAN will present an evening of classical Indian dance called Mohini Attam, in the Fine Arts Auditorium at the U., on Saturday, Dec. 12. Curtain is 7:15 p.m. Admission is free.

Carman lives in California and is recognized as a highly accomplished performer of the classical forms of dances from southern India.

THE ELEANOR KENNARD CHORALE will present a holiday concert on Saturday, Dec. 12, in the Temple Square Assembly Hall. Curtain is 7:30 p.m.

THE SALT LAKE INSTITUTE CONCERT CHOIR, the Encore Choir and the Salt Lake Institute Evening Choir will present "The Gift of Christmas," on Saturday, Dec. 12, in the Bountiful Regional Center, 835 N. 400 East, at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is $2 per person and $8 per family.

THE DRAPER SYMPHONY AND CHORUS will present the annual "Spirit of Christmas" concert on Friday, Dec. 11, and Monday, Dec. 14, in the Draper city auditorium, 12441 S. 900 East. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for children and $25 for families of five. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Albertson's Service Counter, 1212 E. Draper Parkway.

THE UTAH ARTISTS JUNIOR BALLET COMPANY, directed by Barbara Nesi Olsen, will perform its 11th annual "Children's Nutcracker Ballet" in the Highland High School auditorium, 2166 S. 1700 East, on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 12. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $7 and $4.

LIFE ARTS CENTER'S DANCERS' THEATRE COMPANY will take part in Repertory Dance Theatre's Ring Around the Rose children's program in the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. Broadway, on Saturday, Dec. 12. Curtain is 11 a.m. Tickets range from $3.50-$5 and can be purchased at all ArtTix outlets or by calling 355-ARTS (2787).

THE KISMET DANCE COMPANY will offer an evening of Middle Eastern dance on Saturday, Dec. 12, in the Marriott Center for Dance on the University of Utah campus. Curtain is 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance at the Kismet Boutique, 1760 S. 1100 East, or at the door for $10. The concert will feature Yasamina.

THE U. WOMEN'S CHOIR, directed by Lane Chaney, will present its annual holiday concert in the West Institute at the U., 300 South and University Street, on Saturday, Dec. 12. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.

THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN REPERTORY BALLET, directed by Connie Burton, will have its "Nutcracker" run in the Springville High School auditorium Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

The company will then move to the Timpview High School auditorium Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 19 at 1:30 p.m. The final performance will be held in the Park City Eccles Center Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

MOUNTAIN WEST BALLET and the Sandy City Arts Council will present artistic director Gary Horton's "Nutcracker" in the Mount Jordan Middle School, 9360 S. 300 East, from Dec. 14-18. Evening curtain is 7:30 p.m., with matinees on Dec. 12 and 19 at 2 p.m.
