Outlined against a storm-darkened sky, turbine towers stand ready to harness wind at a $60 million 41.4 megawatt wind farm nearing completion in southeastern Wyoming. The 69-turbine project is a joint venture between the Eugene (Ore.) Water & Electric Board and PacifiCorp. Ken Beeson, the Eugene board's project manager, said the plant could start producing power as early as next week.
