The Jordan School District will bid farewell to two board members and two administrators who are retiring after 93 years of combined service. An open house is set for Thursday, Dec. 10, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the district office, 9361 S. 300 East.Retiring board members are:

-- Maurine C. Jensen, current board vice president and former school librarian and PTA member. Jensen has received numerous awards and honors during her 19 years on the board, including the Utah School Boards Association's Distinguished Service Award, in 1986 and 1998.

-- Ann C. Forbush, a longtime elementary school teacher in the Jordan School District and board member from 1995-1998. Forbush has served three years on the board of directors of the Utah School Boards Association, as well as numerous years as a representative for the Jordan Education Association.

Also retiring:

-- C. Devon Sanderson, the district's business administrator, has served as a district employee for the last 34 years. He has served as business administrator since 1991. He is also a former teacher, administrator of Planning, Evaluation, Technology and Student Services, curriculum consultant, and curriculum designer.

-- Fred Worlton, assistant superintendent of the district's northwest area, has served the district since 1965. In addition to his nine years as assistant superintendent, Worlton has also served as an area director, high school and middle school principal and teacher. He is a former president of the Jordan Education Association.

All four will retire Dec. 31.
