FARMINGTON -- Wasatch Energy Systems believes it is nearing a settlement with the Utah Division of Air Quality on alleged pollution violations.
The Division of Air Quality cited Wasatch, operator of the Davis and Morgan county burn plant, on Oct. 30 for emissions that exceeded allowable pollution levels on three occasions between April and September.Wasatch attorney Larry Jenkins said Wednesday afternoon he still believes the citations relate to mathematical errors by the Division of Air Quality.
"We're in the process of negotiating with the attorney general," Jenkins said.
