Rhea Reeder Smith, our loving mother and grandmother, died Dec. 4, 1998.
Born July 29, 1915 in Brigham City, Utah to Ada Mathias and Adolph Madsen Reeder. Married Clinton P. Smith on August 12, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple.Grew up on a farm west of Corinne, Utah, attended schools in Corinne and Brigham City, and graduated from Box Elder High School. She attended Utah State Agricultural College (Utah State University) in Logan, Utah.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in ward presidencies of the Primary, YWMIA and the Relief Society and was employed at the Salt Lake Temple for 25 years. She was a member of the D.U.P.
She is survived by her three children, Julia Ann Rossiter (Terry), Sandy, UT; David R. Smith (Kathleen), Lafayette, CO; Ronald J. Smith (Julie), Sandy, UT; 10 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Edna Sadler, Logan, UT; Ray Reeder, Durango, CO; Dr. Grant Reeder, Bountiful, UT; Lois Campbell, Salt Lake City, UT; and Dawn Reeder, Corinne, UT. Preceded in death by her husband; sister, Hope Reeder; and brother, Glenn Reeder.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 1998 at 10 a.m. at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive. Friends and family may call Monday, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment, Riverside City Cemetery.
