I wish to speak out on various topics that have me absolutely disgusted. After reading the article in the Nov. 26 Deseret News about Wendy Weaver, I was appalled. Here we have a teacher of young women, a coach who evidently propagates and promotes her deviant lifestyle. Men should not walk around the girls' dressing rooms, and neither should deviantly orientated women, nor for that matter should homosexual men be allowed in the boys' dressing rooms. I wouldn't wish a young man to endure having a homosexual coach, nor would I wish the same upon a young woman.

I was especially appalled by a statement of ACLU attorney Stephen C. Clark that "it recognizes that gays and lesbians can't be discriminated against based on stereotypes and fears and prejudice." This kind of defense by the homosexual community is all too typical.I was not surprised to learn that the ACLU (Adamant Criminal Liberation Unit or maybe it's the Anti-Christian Liberal Union) was also involved in this ordeal. I find it interesting that the ACLU champions only the cause of people who fight traditional values that have made our society great and enabled us to prosper; never have I heard it defend the part of the Bill of Rights that prohibits Congress from restricting the free exercise of religion.

Why did the ACLU not defend the students of West High School in their freedom of speech in singing songs that mention God at graduation? I also doubt they will fight for my right to denounce deviant lifestyles. I hate to inform them, but nowhere in any part of the Constitution or its amendments does it contain anything remotely close to the phrase "separation of church and state," which we hear so loudly championed by "liberals."
