WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police are looking for three culprits who robbed a convenience store Monday evening.
The trio entered the Maverik convenience store at 5600 W. 5390 South about 11 p.m. Monday, said West Valley Police Lt. Kelly Rushton.One of the three pulled a chrome or light-colored short-barreled shotgun from under his coat, Rushton said. They demanded money and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The store clerk described the robbers as dark-skinned or Polynesian males, in their late teens or early 20s, wearing ski masks. They fled in a full-sized vehicle, possibly a truck, Rushton said.
