PLEASANT GROVE -- Police are searching for a man who brandished a knife while attempting to rob a convenience store early Monday.

A 21-year-old male clerk at Walker Oil, 460 E. State, suffered a cut to the forearm while refusing to give the would-be robber any money after he pulled a knife on him about 1:20 a.m., according to Pleasant Grove police.The suspect, described as having long brown hair and three silver hoop rings in each ear, fled the store in a black or blue older model four-wheel-drive Ford pickup, police said.
