L.B. Whitford takes advantage of last week's unseasonably warm weather to hang Christmas lights on the porch of his home in Topeka, Kan. High temperatures were in the 60s across the Midwest. This week, Kansas' highs mainly have been in the 40s, with lows in the 20s.
