WOMEN'S SOCCER: Shauna Rohbock and Maren Hendershot have been named All-America Third Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).This is Rohbock's third consecutive citation by the NSCAA and Hendershot's first honor. Both players were named to the NCAA Division I Third Team.
Rohbock, a 5-foot-8 senior forward from Orem, led the Cougars in scoring all four years, finishing this season with 27 goals and nine assists for 57 points. Hendershot, a 5-8 junior midfielder, from Colorado Springs, was the second-leading scorer on the team compiling 44 points for 19 goals and six assists.
San Diego State's Catherine McGuire was the only other WAC soccer player to receive a Third Team All-America honor.
The Cougars finished the 1998 season with a 20-5 record and an at-large bid to this year's NCAA Championship. BYU made it to the round of "sweet 16" with victories over Stanford and UCLA before losing 3-0 to Santa Clara, a team that was in the final four of the championship last weekend.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Southern Utah (4-3, 1-0 Mid-Con) travels to Pocatello to face Idaho State (1-5, 0-0 Big Sky) Friday at 7:35 p.m. MST at Holt Arena.
Idaho State leads the overall series 23-6 after sweeping both meetings with the Thunderbirds last season, 58-55 in Pocatello and 80-67 in Cedar City.
SUU has lost eight of its last nine games in Pocatello and has dropped 14 of the last 17 meetings with ISU on the basketball court.
Junior guard Angela Munger is the leading scorer (13.7 points per game), leading rebounder (5.7 rpg), leading three-point shooter (14-for-37, .429), leads the team in steals with 13 (2.1 spg) and is second in assists with 24 (4.0). Center Ashley Wiseman (10.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg) and forward Mandi Carver (10.2 ppg, 5.6 rpg) also play key roles in ISU's offense.
